The  Medicines Optimisation Team at NHS Frimley work closely with member GP practices and our provider organisations to promote and support safe, cost effective and evidence-based prescribing. In this section you will find resources such as prescribing guidelines, policies and formularies.

  • The Frimley Formulary can be accessed here

  • The South Central Antimicrobial Network (SCAN) guidelines for antibiotic prescribing in the community can be accessed here

  • Patient Group Directions (PGDs) for the Routine Immunisation Schedule are produced by NHS England – South (South Central) for use by practices. You can access these here.  National protocols and PGDs for COVID-19 vaccinations can be found here
